New: Cup and friendly matches

The main complaint about Alltid has always been our lack of updates for midweek matches – like cups and friendlies. To rectify this we’re now downloading every match for every regular team in Hattrick!

It’s a work in progress, and it’s a huge job to get it right, so new functions related to this will be released over time. Currently the changes can be seen in the player history pages and the team graphs and history, where every match are now recorded. Friendly and cup matches are shown for this season and beyond.

Delayed updates

The updates will wait until the Hattrick servers becomes a bit more responsive. Unfortunately it’s almost impossible to even log in now, much less downloads lots of data. I’ll keep you posted.

On thursday, after the training, I was thinking “I better set my lineup now, in case of any problems with the new server on Saturday…. naaah.. I’m sure the new server will be fine!” Stupid me. Hope it’s up soon, or I’ll have to stay another season in VI…

Did anyone else do the same mistake?

Update 13:58 CET: Well, it certainly seems like everything is working again now. At least I was able to set my lineup! Yay!

Update 15:46 CET: The updates have started, but unfortunately there are a lot of problems with errors on some HT pages. Since the downloader is very insistent on getting the correct data, it won’t give up until it works. Which might take a while. So please be patient, and lets hope fixes the problems fast.

Update 19:51 CET: Everything is working and all updates are running as they should. Once the new Hattrick-server was working fully, it has proved to be really fast. You can see the difference in the graph to the right. Blue is this season, red is round 1 last season.

Alltid Supporter changes name to Alltid Plus

To avoid confusion with Hattrick and their Hattrick Supporter product, I have now changed the name of Alltid Supporter to Alltid Plus.

The change is only in the name – it’s still the same excellent service as before. If you’re not a Plus Member yet, what are you waiting for?

Firefox Extension v2.5.0 Released!

Firefox 3.0 has finally been released! I highly recommend that you download and install it, as it has a lot of improvements over the old versions.

Marking the new release, Alltid has a new Firefox Extension for you. This time I’ve completely rewritten the extension to make use of some new FF3 features, and to make the extension easier to maintain. The main difference for you as a user is that there is a new preference pane which gives you more control over what the extension adds to the page. There is also a small new way of accessing the Alltid stats by integrating the stats menu into the menu of the regular pages.

The options can be found in the Tools -> Hattrick menu in Firefox 3. They are not available for Firefox 2 users.
